Pagestown Harmony | April

Our first purebred Irish Draught mare, April aka Pagestown Harmony has been a prolific winner in hand and under saddle. She is a 2012 mare by Crosstown Dancer ex Liskillen Harmony (Pride of Glenogra). She was awarded her Class 1 status as a 3 year old with Bronze merit for both Conformation and Movement, and also for Athleticism. April is correct mare with superb movement and freedom of the shoulder. She has won numerous championships in hand and was IDHBA Mare of the Future in 2016. Under saddle she won Irish Draught Performance classes at both Balmoral and Northern Ireland Festival as a 4/5 year old. She also qualified for the Dublin Horse Show Performance Irish Draught Class as a 4 year old and jumped around with great bravery over a strong track. She achieved a bronze merit for Dressage as a 4/5 year old. April’s 1/2 brother The Comedian was Champion Cob at Horse Of The Year Show in 2013 and her full brother Pagestown Principal has been shown successfully as a heavyweight hunter in the UK, including qualifying for HOYS 2021.

April had her first foal in 2019 and now has 2 purebred Irish Draught & 3 Traditional Irish Horse youngsters on the ground. They have all inherited her exceptional movement & jumping technique. She is in expecting her third foal to TIH stallion Carrick Diamond Royale in 2026.

A Sky Full of Stars | Sky

Sky aka A Sky Full of Stars is a Class 1 Irish Draught by Star Kingdom ex Enniskeane Rose (Suma’s Murphy’s Law). She is a big, beautiful middleweight mare with a beautiful temperament and powerful movement and has been a very successful show mare. She placed fifth in the Irish Draught Mare class at the Dublin Horse Show in 2018 in a class of 20 mares, with her colt foal Carrafarm Skyfall ('Watermill Swatch') also placed 2nd in his class.

 

At the Dublin Horse Show 2019 her filly foal Carrafarm Constellations (x Lionwood Kinsales Lad) placed 4th in a large ID filly foal class. Carrafarm Constellations returned to the RDS under saddle in 2023 and in 2024 when she won the 4/5 year old Irish Draught Performance Irish Draught Class. Sky is in foal to Moylough Legacy for 2026.

Carrafarm Light Years | Joy

​Joy aka Carrafarm Light Years is a 2016 mare by Thoroughbred sire Barely A Moment ex Thornfield Gwynne (by Cruising). She is a full Traditional Irish Horse (TIH) with no warmblood breeding in her pedigree. She has correct conformation, lovely movement, intelligent, kind temperament, athleticism and superb bloodlines. She has 74% Thoroughbred blood and her damline is rich with performance. Her half brother Cruising Guy (sire Loughahoe Guy) evented to 3* - he also won a $20,000 Indoor Eventing Challenge in Toronto 2016 with Michael Jung. Her dam is a full sister to Thornfield Camille who showjumped to 1.20m and bred Over Lux who jumped 1.40m. Another full sister to her dam bred two 1.40/1.50m horses. Her second dam Lupez was a full sister to the 4* Eventer Hugh Knows.

We competed her for a couple of years both in Dressage Ireland and on the Working Hunter circuit. In 2022 she jumped a clear round a the first running of the RDS Traditional Irish Horse Working Hunter Class. She is in foal to the prolific Irish Draught stallion Steeped in Luck for 2026. 

 

Carrafarm Homecoming | Juno

Carrafarm Homecoming aka Juno is a 2020 homebred mare by Lionwood Kinsales Lad out of A Sky Full of Stars. She gained her Class 1 approval in the Irish Draught Studbook at 3 years old. She was lightly broken at 3 and had a foal at 4 - Carrafarm Light My Way aka Harry Potter was a handsome foal by TIH sire Carrick Diamond Royale. He won at the IDHBA National Show as a foal and as a yearling made his way to the USA where he has found a wonderful forever home. Juno was recently started back under saddle as a five year old and is proving to have an amazing temperment along with an aptitude for dressage. We will produce her in the sport before she has more foals.
